A new character-themed destination has opened in Hachioji, Tokyo! The "Little Twin Stars Room," where you can fully immerse yourself in the world of Sanrio's beloved characters Little Twin Stars (Kiki & Lala), opened in March 2026! Before reservations officially began, a FUN! JAPAN editor got an exclusive preview. The space, decorated with pastel colors and motifs of stars and moons, is completely immersed in the world of Kiki & Lala from every angle. Who are Little Twin Stars (Kiki & Lala)?
Little Twin Stars are twin characters created by Sanrio in 1975. They are twin sibling stars born on the Star of Compassion in the Dream Nebula. They came from a distant starry land to become shining stars. The older sister, Lala, is timid and a bit of a crybaby. The younger brother, Kiki, is full of curiosity, a little impulsive, and loves to play pranks.

True to the concept of "Kiki & Lala guiding you through the night sky before you fall asleep," lying on your back and gazing up at the ceiling makes you feel as if you are truly in the land of stars. The ceiling itself brings to life the idea that Little Twin Stars are characters from the stars.

[Special Feature] Kiki & Lala Made a Surprise Appearance During Our Visit!
During our visit, Kiki & Lala actually made a surprise appearance in the room! The author was absolutely thrilled by their sudden appearance. It truly felt like participating in a character greeting event, and the excitement and joy instantly filled the space.
While character appearances are not part of a regular stay, there are photo spots featuring Hello Kitty and Little Twin Stars on the second-floor restaurant level of the hotel.
