Super Cute Early Summer Themed “Ebisen” Japanese Shrimp Crackers

In Japan, it’s very common to receive a gift as a reward when you helped someone in private life as a professional.

Cakes and crackers are very popular choices for those gifts. You can buy assortments in any department store.

Here are some crackers printed with “Kodomo no hi” (Boy’s festival) symbols : koi carp and samurai helmet. This package is also “Kodomo no hi” (Boy’s festival) themed with fish and flowing water, giving a fresh feel in summer. The swirls symbolizing the water area contains some seaweed with give a nice color and taste.

In the pack there’s also small helmet-shaped cracker.
There’s a real Japanese maple (Momiji) leaf in the crackers. Don’t worry it’s edible.

It’s already a pleasure to eat delicious crackers, but it’s also a feast for the eyes!
How do you find those crackers ? Beautiful ? Fun ?

You can find them in Keishindo shops in department stores.
