The most common beverage from Japan, green tea, is now popular worldwide.
It is an important part of Japanese traditional food culture.
I visited a cafe where they let you casually enjoy green tea and other Japanese traditional foods.

It is called “nana’s green tea.’
The cafe was bustling with a lot of people, mostly girls and families with children.
When you think of Japanese traditional tea house, you might think it as quiet, calm and strict, but this is the modern tea house. Stylish and full of energy.

They have a big selection of various green tea but not only tea, they also have Japanese foods, such as bowls of rice with many kinds of toppings, udon noodles, and rice bowls.

It took me a long time but I finally made my decision.
What I ordered is matcha(green tea) parfait with mochi dumpling called Shiratama on top.
Slightly bitter matcha ice cream and sweet pea beans are great together and couldn’t stop eating. Just perfectly what I wanted.

I also ordered these rice bowls with salmon flakes inside, and it comes with a cup of miso soup.
It is great that I can eat something filling and something sweets at the same time.
According to their website, this is a chain restaurant all over Japan.
I want to look for this place whenever I’m out with my friends and want something traditional and sweets.
Definitely a place you must go when you came to visit Japan!
