Yomiuriland is one of largest and most popular Japanese amusement park. It is located in west of Tokyo and can be reached by 30 minutes train ride from Shinjuku, center of Tokyo.
From Keio Yomiuriland station, we can use bus or gondola to go to the park. We decided to use gondola!

The gondola that brought us to the park

We bought Yomiuriland night pass
Although I used night pass, it was still bright when I arrived in the park. After long train and gondola ride, we bought some snacks.

You can buy snacks from food stalls like this. There are many of them inside the park
The sun set, and the magic happened! All of theme park turns to large illummination attraction. No wonder they call the illummuniation “Jewel Illummination”, it’s truly beautiful and magnificent.

Each attraction is decorated with illumination

This illummination + water fountain attraction is breathtaking

You can also take photos at tunnel of lights!
After enjoying illummination, we took a break and eat in restaurant inside the park.

We had pasta and stew for our dinner
After filling our stomach, it’s time to get our adrenalline high by riding some extreme attractions!

Before going home, we took some more photos of illummination. Here we go!

And this is the final photo when we went back to the station using gondola. The view from above is so spectacular
