KAWAII MONSTER CAFE's concept is "A brand new Tokyo no-one has yet seen". It is recreating and expressing something that births its own original and unique culture, very similar to Tokyo itself. Also, some iconic girls will greet you upon entry making you feel as though you've been taken to a whole new world almost instantaneously.
What to Check Out at KAWAII MONSTER CAFE
Firstly, we would highly recommend visiting and experiencing the detailed art space.
The first thing you will see is KAWAII MONSTER CAFE's Symbolic "SWEETS GO ROUND". It's a huge merry-go-round with a spinning giant cake, and also one of the cafe's most popular photo spots.
There are 4 other unique zones.
Enormous mushrooms and space plants spread out across the ceiling. The vividly coloured mushrooms seem almost poisonous, but give the overall area an energetic atmosphere.
There is also an area in the back where there are many lips painted onto a wall.
There are huge heads of a rabbit, sheep, and unicorn which are drinking milk from gigantic milk bottles on the ceiling.
This is a laboratory for adults that almost seems as though you have been sent into deep waters. This bar, covered by a giant jellyfish is lit up in blue and green neon lights, giving it a mystical feel.
A zone where you can be surrounded by your favourite sweets such as ice cream, chocolate, macarons and much more. How about trying a tea party in this phantasy zone?
KAWAII MONSTER CAFE MENU
There are various items to choose from such as hamburgers or pasta as well as drinks and sweets. There is a menu for multicoloured treats, which have great impact due to their looks. Enjoy everything to the fullest from the first to the last bite.
Also, there are various products being sold such as key holders, T-shirts, bags, and much more. Perfect as a souvenir of Harajuku's culture!
