Why Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa Is the Best Place to Stay When Visiting JUNGLIA
At Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa, you can enjoy exclusive benefits available only to partner hotels, making transportation and admission to the park much smoother. This hotel is perfect for those who want to have a comfortable trip to Okinawa or enjoy JUNGLIA OKINAWA from opening to closing.
Travel Smoothly with a Complimentary Shuttle Bus for Hotel Guests
Guests can use the complimentary shuttle bus, the “JUNGLIA EXPRESS,” which connects the hotel and JUNGLIA OKINAWA, free of charge and without a reservation. Since the bus departs from the hotel’s main entrance, it is a good idea to line up a little earlier than the departure time for peace of mind.
The bus operates with 28 seats and standing room for 27 people. However, please note that you may not be able to board if the bus is full.
The operating schedule is posted on the official JUNGLIA OKINAWA website and at the hotel’s main entrance, so be sure to check it in advance.
When I actually used the shuttle, I found the seats to be comfortable and the interior relatively spacious. Even when standing, there was little sense of crowding, so you can travel with peace of mind.
Exclusive Official Hotel Guest Lane Allows Smooth Entry Even During Busy Times at JUNGLIA
Guests can use the “Official Hotel Guest Lane” set up at the park entrance gate. Simply receive a priority admission card at the hotel front desk and present it at the exclusive lane. Even right after opening or during crowded times, you can enter more smoothly than the regular line, allowing you to spend your valuable time enjoying attractions or exploring the park. This is a major benefit.
Hotel-Exclusive Photo Spot for Guests to Capture Special Memories
Inside the hotel, there is a JUNGLIA photo spot exclusively for official hotel guests. It is perfect for taking commemorative photos unique to the official hotel, along with memories from the park. The photo spot is located in the first-floor lobby.
[Accommodation Report] From Guest Rooms to the Pool! Highlights and Recommendations
During my stay, I felt that Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa is not only convenient as a base for visiting JUNGLIA, but also a resort hotel where you can fully enjoy your hotel stay itself. The guest rooms, renovated in 2024, feature high-quality design and spacious layouts, and all rooms offer ocean views. With one of the largest garden pools in Okinawa Prefecture and gourmet cuisine made with local Okinawan ingredients, the hotel is packed with attractions that make you want to spend the whole day there.
All Ocean-View Guest Rooms with a Spacious Atmosphere
This time, I stayed in a “Club Room,” which can accommodate up to three guests.
The guest room is spacious at approximately 44 square meters, and the large windows offer views of the surrounding natural scenery.
At the bedside, in addition to the standard Type A electrical outlets commonly found in Japan, there are also USB ports and USB Type-C ports available.
The interior, based on natural colors, creates a calm atmosphere and offers the comfort you would expect from a resort.
The sofa space on the veranda side features glass walls on two sides. It is the perfect spot to relax while enjoying the view. If you close the curtains, you can enjoy an even more private and relaxing space.
The room comes with two types of drip coffee, tea bags, and snacks. It also features a refrigerator with a freezer compartment stocked with complimentary mineral water, juice, beer, and other beverages, all available at no extra charge.
The marble bathroom is equipped with a spacious bathtub where you can soak and relax.
In addition to standard amenities such as toothbrushes, mouthwash, combs, and razors, the room is also stocked with bath salts, nail buffers, and sewing kits. I was impressed by the extensive lineup!
The room is equipped with a FUKUGEN Dryer, a hair dryer made by a Japanese manufacturer, which provides plenty of airflow. Even after washing my hair following a swim or a bath, it dried quickly, making it easy to get ready comfortably.
Enjoy a Resort Escape at the 170-Meter Garden Pool & Spa
The hotel’s signature facility is the garden pool, which is one of the largest in Okinawa Prefecture at approximately 170 meters in length. Both children and adults can play to their hearts’ content and refresh themselves, forgetting about the humid heat.
There are also water slides and a poolside bar. Not only can you enjoy swimming in the pool, but you can also fully relax and enjoy your time by the poolside.
At night, the pool is beautifully illuminated, transforming into a magical night pool. The resort atmosphere at night is different from the daytime and is just as attractive.
In addition, the hotel is equipped with an indoor pool, spa, sauna, and fitness gym, allowing you to enjoy an extraordinary experience in your own way.
Enjoy Gourmet Cuisine Featuring Okinawan Ingredients! Hotel Restaurants
Inside the hotel, there are four restaurants and bars where you can enjoy dishes made with Okinawan ingredients. For dinner, I enjoyed Okinawan cuisine and shabu shabu at RYUBINKA.
At the breakfast buffet at “Buffet & Grill QWACHI,” you can find unique Okinawan dishes such as pork and egg sandwiches you can make yourself and taco rice. From morning to night, I was able to enjoy Okinawan gourmet cuisine and had a very satisfying hotel stay.

JUNGLIA OKINAWA 2026 Latest News | New Attractions and Food Menus
In 2026, JUNGLIA OKINAWA has become even more exciting with the addition of new attractions and food offerings. Even if you've visited before, you'll find plenty of new ways to enjoy the park.
New Thrill Ride Attraction: YAMBARU TORNADO
Debuting in spring 2026, YAMBARU TORNADO is a brand-new thrill ride inspired by the lush forests of Yambaru (the lush subtropical forest region in northern Okinawa). As the seats spin and swing high through the air, you'll experience the exhilarating sensation of being launched skyward. Already one of the signature attractions in the Jungle Extremes area, it's a must-ride for adrenaline seekers.
New Food Menus
One of the highlights of JUNGLIA OKINAWA is its authentic Okinawan cuisine. In 2026, the park introduced a variety of new menu items featuring locally sourced Okinawan ingredients. From quick bites you can enjoy while exploring the park to hearty meals perfect for a relaxing break, the expanded lineup makes JUNGLIA a satisfying destination for food lovers as well.
At the outdoor restaurant WILD BANQUET, don't miss THE WILD Flying Squid & Okinawan Risotto Nero. It features striking black juicy, made with squid ink from Ie Island and topped with locally caught flying squid. Juicy is Okinawa's traditional seasoned rice dish, typically cooked with pork, vegetables, and savory broth. A squeeze of fresh lemon adds a bright citrus finish, making it especially refreshing on warm days.
The main dining restaurant “PANORAMA DINING” offers the “JUNGLIA Course,” a menu designed to stimulate all five senses.
The main course, "Roasted Shima Ushi Wagyu and Okinawan Banana with Fresh Kelp Sauce," features Satogaeri Beef, cattle born in Okinawa and raised in neighboring Kagoshima. The roasted locally grown banana adds a touch of sweetness that perfectly complements the rich umami of the beef.
If you stay at Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa along with your visit to JUNGLIA OKINAWA, you can fully enjoy both unique Okinawan experiences and gourmet cuisine, creating unforgettable memories.
