Tonkatsu（豚カツ，とんかつ，或トンカツ，猪排）是世界各地最出名的日本料理之一。Tonkatsu是一种沾上面包屑的炸猪排，通常配有味噌汤和切碎的包菜。豚屋Tonichi是一家相对较新和舒适的炸猪排餐厅，位於三条区和祗园区之间的繁华街道。尤其是在整天游览之後而，Tonkatsu可以满足你的口福，很适合当成你的午餐或晚餐。
Tonkatsu (豚カツ, とんかつ, or トンカツ, pork cutlet) is one of the most famous Japanese dishes that is also famous all around the world. Tonkatsu is a breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet that is often served with miso soup and shredded cabbage. Butaya Tonichi is a relatively new and cozy tonkatsu restaurant in the middle of the busy street of Teramachi, which is located between the Sanjo and Gion areas. Tonkatsu is a great meal that you can eat for lunch or dinner, especially after touring around all day.
餐厅供应炸猪排定食，配有味噌汤，米饭跟包菜。肉嫩嫩的，酱汁也很甜美可口。如果你觉得特别饿，你可以选择炸猪排配半熟蛋和鲜炸大虾，绝对让你吃得饱！他们还提供其美食，包括Katsudon（猪排亲子盖饭），Tonteki（猪排料理）和Karaage（唐扬炸鸡）。我去的时候，点了一份以酱油跟蒜汁煮成的猪排，而我的朋友点了炸猪排配炸大虾。猪排肉质超级滑嫩，跟酱汁很配合。碎包菜也有很多，还提供了两种包菜的调味料，洋葱酱跟芝麻酱。你还可以搭配一碟小腌菜，以及餐厅自制的山葵酱跟芥末酱来作猪排的酱汁。我的朋友也推荐他的定食；猪排盖饭的猪排很嫩，跟酱汁很配，还有炸虾很大，沾上调味酱也真的很好吃的！
The restaurant serves Tonkatsu sets, which come with a miso soup, rice, and cabbage. The meat is tender and the sauce is sweet and delicious. If you are feeling extra hungry, you can choose the combo where you pair your tonkatsu with soft boiled egg and jumbo fried shrimp, definitely filling! They also serve other items, including Katsudon (pork cutlet bowl with egg), Tonteki (pork steak), and Karaage (deep-fried chicken cutlets) sets. When I visited the shop, I ordered the pork steak, which is cooked in a soy and garlic sauce, and my friend ordered the Tonkatsu with jumbo fried shrimp. The pork steak was really tender and went well with the sweet and salty sauce. It came with a mountain of shredded cabbage, and the shop offers two kinds of sauces for the cabbage: onion dressing and sesame dressing. You can also help yourself with a side dish of small pickles, and the shop’s own unique blends of wasabi and mustard sauces for your meat. My friend also recommends his meal; the katsudon was tender as well and went well with its sauce and the jumbo fried shrimp was really big and went well with the tartar sauce.
虽然这家餐厅从外面看起来很小，但实际上里面有很多座位（63个座位）。你可以选择坐在椅子上（可以看到工作人员烹调美食的座位）或者榻榻米座椅。就算有很多的座位，晚餐时间也有可能要排队，但不用担心，餐厅空间大，服务快，等待时间不会很长喔。点餐後也不用等太久，因为他们会马上开始煮的， 所以你可以放心你的炸猪排依然是热和松脆的！
Although the shop looks small from outside, it actually has a lot of seats (63 seats) and you can choose either sitting on a chair (counter seats where you can see the staff cook the delicious food) or tatami seats. Even with this many seats, there could be a line of people waiting during dinner time, but don’t worry, the waiting time would not be long because of the large space and quick service of the restaurant. You also don’t have to wait long for your order, even though they cook your food as you order; so you are assured your Tonkatsu will be hot and crispy.

The restaurant welcomes any group size; whether you will be dining solo, as a couple, with friends, or as a family with children. It is also very foreigner friendly and offers the menu in three other languages, in English, Chinese, and Korean! The shop also has a small garden (at the back side of the 1st floor) where you can feel relaxed while enjoying your meal. Make sure that you are hungry when you visit the shop because for sure, you will be full by the time you finish your meal. The shop serves very delicious and filling food items at a very reasonable price, we would definitely go back!
