There used to be two of the same buildings like this one build parallel to the ocean, however, after the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake one of the building collapsed and it is now more like 1.5 buildings.
The Akarenga Park is on the right hand side.
This is building number 2, the one that did not collapse.
Currently, the building is more of a tourist attraction and a place for festivities where various events are held.
The area between the ocean and the building is called the Akarenga Park.
This building is pretty interesting to me because it was build a long time ago.
Really historic.
This is located in Yokohama so it’s actually really near to Tokyo, come and check this out! :)
