★Visit Japan Diary : Day3★ Yanagawa , Enmei Park , Dazaifu Shrine (April 04, 2017)

On the morning, I woke up earlier as we will visit a lot of places today. I really excited as I can saw a lot of part of Japan especially in Fukuoka. I really amazed with this country as for me, at each prefecture, there will be something special about that place. Just imagine behind a busy city that have a lot of shopping malls, buildings, offices and also peoples, there is still a place that the environment is so peaceful as we can escaped from the busy and hectic life for a while. So that, today was our second day and thep places we visited were Yanagawa's willow, Enmei Park and Dazaifu.

Yanagawa is located in the southwestern part of Fukuoka which in in a rural area near the mouth of the Chikugo-gawa River that empties into the Sea of Ariake. At this place, I experience to be on the Japanese traditional boat as it was similar like in Malaysia which is “Sampan”. While be on the boat, I can feel the calmness while watching the surrounding around there. It was an unforgettable moment for me as I had opportunity to saw cherry blossom, old traditional Japanese house and also the boatman sang the traditional song at Yanagawa. Then, I got the opportunity to take picture with a local woman that wearing Yukata! She was so pretty on that day. We spent many hours here and I really enjoyed this place very much!

Then, our second place was Enmei Park. From Yanagawa, we walk around 30 minutes to find nearby train station as we decided not to wait the bus as the next bus will be on next 45 minutes. Along our walked to the train station, I can feel the fresh air and the rural area surrounding since there was a lot of tree nearby the river. At Enmei Park, we were not spending so much time there as the sakura tree does not really bloomed and we decided to go to the Dazaifu.

Dazaifu is a small, quiet city on the outskirts of the large city of Fukuoka and there were a number of temples and shrines and the most famous shrine is Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Dazaifu Tenmangu was revered as a place to worship Tenjin that also known as the god of culture and has long served as a cultural epicenter. There was also like holy water there and I saw some people wash their hand and mouth with that water and it was very interesting. A lot of amulet being sold there and one of the amulet I like was a picture of a girl and a boy praying but, I did not know the meaning.
