Hotel Kumoi in the Hot Spring town
Discovered around 1954-60, Asahidake Onsen is located northeast side of the mountain, in a steep valley. The hot spring quality is simple sulfur spring, which is effective for the aiding in the treatment of rheumatism, diabetes, high blood pressure and more. Tenninkyo Onsen is about 40 kilometers southeast of Asahikawa, which is located in the scenic spot of Tenninkyo and still leaves you an impression that it is an unexplored hot spring area. The hot spring is rich in sodium sulphate, salt and has a yellow tinge. It is effective for nerve pain and treatment of wounds.
