For 48 days, beginning on November 8th, and ending on December 25th, Tokyo Disney Resort® is holding “Disney Christmas”, a Christmas special event. Together with the 35th anniversary event “Happiest Celebration!”, Tokyo Disney Resort® is filled with even more charm than ever! We will introduce to you the Christmas events that you can only witness at Tokyo Disney Resort®!!
“Disney Christmas Stories” Parade
As if it has come straight from fairy tales, our Disney friends made their appearance in the parade. You can enjoy 7 different Christmas stories.
The first ones to appear are Donald Duck in Santa Claus costume, together with Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey and Louie, to welcome Christmas.
The next one is Toys Christmas with Woody, Buzz Lightyear and other characters from “Toy Stories”.
The float that Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are on arrived, and they played along with their friends. Midway through, the parade then temporarily stopped, after that the echoing sound of a bell can be heard to mark the start of the Christmas party. Together with the sound of the bell rang by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse with Chip and Dale, the guests started to clap their hands and joined in the parade. The tempo of the Christmas song gradually rose, and the excitement reached climax!
The last to make their appearance is the best to represent Christmas, Anna, Elsa and Olaf from “Frozen”.
The 40 minutes parade is held twice a day. Let’s celebrate a wholesome Christmas in a fantastic atmosphere together with the friends from Disney!
Christmas Version of “Celebration Street” Light Show
The world bazaar main street near the entrance of the park which is normally lined up with souvenir stores is currently transformed into “Celebration Street” during the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the park. The street, with its gorgeous ambience, looks different from usual. During Christmas event, the park holds a Christmas version of the light show with song and lighting at night. The beautiful melody and the gorgeous lights will certainly astound you. So, will you spend your Christmas in the magical world of Disney?
