Let`s see animals at Osaka Kaiyukan

This time, I want to tell you about the Osaka Kaiyukan Acquarium.
The Kaiyukan is an aquarium that gathers together every possible sort of marine animal, reptile and mammal.
This aquarium has everything from ordinary to extremely rare marine animals.
For example, it has harbor seals, otters, pirarucu, puffer fish, sharks, whale sharks and plants. It has a total of around 30,000 marine creatures of 620 species.

The opening hours of the Kaiyukan vary depending on the day, but it opens at 8:30, 9:30 or 10:00 and closes at 20:00.
You can access the Kaiyukan by bus or by train. The closest station is Osakako Station.
You can arrive at the Kaiyukan by walking for about 5 minutes from the station.
See the link below for ways of getting there and time required.
The Kaiyukan is divided into three sections.
The first is the Aqua Gate, a tunnel of fish.
The second is Japan Forest, where you can observe various animals. This area is lit up by sunlight making it look beautiful.

The third is Pacific Ocean, where you can see the worlds largest sharks, whale sharks, swimming around. There are also manta ray there that you can touch.
There is a game where you can take a souvenir photo with your face attached to a fish’s body.

As well as this, if you go at night, there are illuminations in front of the Kaiyukan.
It depends on the timing, but there is also a penguin parade show to see.
It took me between about 2 hours and 2 hours 30 minutes to go around the Kaiyukan, but that was because I walked slowly, while taking photos.
So you can probably go around the whole aquarium in about 1 hour at the fastest.
