Located on the basement level, this restaurant is bound to be bustling with locals looking to fill up after a night out. Designed to resemble a brightly-lit shrine, complete with plaited rope and sake barrels Teppan Jinja is dedicated to delicious food of the griddled variety. Known for using olive oil to fry its many offerings, the restaurant has a vast menu of items to choose from, with skewers, noodles and more to enjoy. They have a long counter with a great view o the chefs at work as well as a terrace beside the river which is open throughout the year. There is a good selection of sake and other drinks available. If it is too busy, they have a larger store in Namba and one close to Namba Nankai too.

This spot combines two great traditions: okonomiyaki - the soul-food of Osaka, and izakaya - the drinking dens of Japan.
