Namba Parks, which opened in 2003 after being built where Osaka Stadium used to be, is a spot which was created based on the combined concepts of "city," "daily life," and "nature," adding color and freshness to the city's daily life. This complex commercial facility offers a new shopping experience where you can shop and enjoy nature at the same time.

Enjoy Shopping at the Various Shops

Namba Parks with its 9 stories has over 200 shops. There is a wide range of apparel shops for both adults and children of all ages. There are also cosmetic and interior shops, miscellaneous goods shops, and entertainment stores. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes. Friends and family can easily spend an entire day enjoying shopping and dining together.

Canyon Street with its Grand Square

On the second floor, there are two outdoor plazas that connect different shops on Canyon Street. The Canyon Court is a magnificent space inspired by the Grand Canyon, where various events such as concerts and talk shows take place on the weekends. During the winter at the Glacier Court, you can enjoy the "Light Falls," a dazzling waterfall illumination.

The Parks Garden is a rooftop garden which extends from the 2nd floor up to the 9th floor in the form of a terrace. With approximately 500 different species and 100,000 strains of flowers planted, many seasonal birds and insects visit, making it a healing oasis.

On the 8th floor is an amphitheater with a capacity of around 200 people, and the 9th floor houses a playground for children called the "Harappa Square," which is the perfect facility for families with children.

There are also food shops that offer take out so you can have a drink, do some chatting, or spend some time relaxing on the spacious grounds.

In 2014, American broadcast station CNN selected this spot as one of the "Top 10 Most Beautiful Sky Gardens in the World." If you love nature, definitely visit this park in the middle of the city!

Namba Parks is Easy to Access

Access to Namba Parks is very easy, the facility is directly connected to the Namba Station on the Nankai Electric Railway. It is also connected to the underground shopping area, making it convenient to head to Shinsaibashi or the Kuromon Market. No problem on rainy days either!
