Marugame Genichiro Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art ( MIMOCA) can be accessed easily on foot as it is right by Marugame station. On the exterior of the building there is a large Ichiro Inokuma mural and objet d’art. The building design was created by architect Yoshio Taniguchi who has had experience with building many other art galleries. It was built with Mr Inokuma and the architect’s concepts right up to the finest details. The interior of the building is a wide, light, open space that is lavishly lit with natural light.
