[Must-See] Mickey and Duffy Appear! "Disney Christmas Greeting" Report
Greetings from the Water! Characters in Christmas Costumes and Music
The highlight of Christmas at Tokyo DisneySea is the "Disney Christmas Greeting" show held at Mediterranean Harbor.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, other Disney friends, and Santa Claus appear on boats in the harbor, greeting guests to the sounds of Christmas music.
Especially popular in Asia, Duffy & Friends' Duffy and ShellieMay also join this greeting. Their adorable appearance in Christmas costumes is a must-see.
You can watch the greeting from anywhere around Mediterranean Harbor, but choosing the right spot is important if you want to see the characters up close. The area around the crescent-shaped island, Lido Isle, and the front of Piazza Topolino (commonly known as Mickey Square) are popular viewing spots.
Please note that you cannot reserve spots by leaving leisure sheets or belongings unattended. Also, there are no paid viewing areas such as DPA (Disney Premier Access) for this event.

Romantic Night Views! The Giant Tree at American Waterfront
The Symbol of Tokyo DisneySea! A Brilliant 15-Meter-Tall Tree
On the pier of the exotic American Waterfront stands a giant Christmas tree about 15 meters tall.
The sheer size of the tree is impressive even during the day, but at night it is nothing short of romantic.
Starting at 17:30, a special lighting performance makes the area glow with a magical atmosphere. This time of day is especially perfect for taking memorable photos with your loved ones or friends.
Christmas Decorations Overflowing with Exotic Atmosphere in Each Area
Each area is decorated for Christmas. One of the unique ways to enjoy Tokyo DisneySea is to stroll through the park while searching for the different Christmas scenes in each themed port.
Among the areas we visited, the most highly recommended was the American Waterfront, where the giant tree stands. The area, which recreates early 20th-century New York, is decorated with dazzling Christmas ornaments befitting a big city. The best time for photos is the hour before sunset, when the contrast between the magic hour sky and the night view is at its most beautiful.
Also, right after entering the park, Passaggio Miracosta (Miracosta Street) is filled with photo spots.
The nighttime atmosphere is also wonderful.
In one corner of Mediterranean Harbor, near the DisneySea Transit Steamer Line boarding area, you will also find a row of Christmas trees.
If you look closely, you’ll see ornaments of Pinocchio and other characters from the story on display!
Unique to Tokyo DisneySea! Atmosphere Entertainment Full of Surprises
Festive and Lively! Surprises Await as You Stroll Through the Park
One of the biggest attractions at Tokyo DisneySea is the “Atmosphere Entertainment” that suddenly begins at various locations throughout the park.
Around the American Waterfront and other areas, special entertainment featuring Christmas music delights guests. Since these performances begin without notice, the surprise of encountering them as you walk through the park is part of the fun.

The Tokyo Disney Resort Line is a monorail that connects the parks and hotels. During the Christmas season, the “Disney Christmas Liner” runs with its interior decorated in Christmas style.
In addition, special Christmas-themed free passes are available for a limited time. Traveling between the parks itself becomes a fun memory. Be sure to take advantage of this offer.
Enjoy the Tokyo Disney Resort Experience at Home with “Frozen Selection”
“Tokyo Disney Resort Frozen Selection” is a special frozen dessert service available only to guests who have entered the park. During the Disney Christmas season, you can purchase assorted mini cakes with Christmas-themed designs such as Lil’ Rin Rin and presents, and have them delivered to your home.
💡Useful Tips: You can place orders through the official app until 23:45 on the day of your visit and while you are in the park, so there is no need to worry about carrying heavy items. Please note that international shipping is not available, so those living overseas should be aware of this.
