Come to Len cafe, when you travel to Kyoto
There are so many cafés and restaurants in Kyoto, so sometimes you might not be able to decide which place is good to hang out with friends. I could say that Len is one of the best places that can serve what you want. Drinks are good, food and desserts are delicious, staff are very nice, and price is reasonable. You just walk a little from tourist spots to this shop, and you will see why this shop is great. The shop is not so crowded so you will have some private space and apparently, you can sit as long as you want!
This cafe opens from morning until night, offers Japanese & Western food
In the morning and afternoon, from 8 am to 5 pm, this shop is a café that sells coffee and desserts. Then in the evening, from 5 pm to midnight, this shop is open for dining and offers a drink bar. There are several menus that include both Japanese food and Western food, such as beef steak, fries, baguette bread with spreads, chicken nanban (chicken fried in oil, dipped in sweet/sour sauce, and then topped with a tartar sauce), and many more! When I visited the shop, I ordered the chicken nanban, the chicken was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside and went very well with the sauces. My friend and I also ordered a big plate of fries as well, we really enjoyed our food and talk there!
This shop also has good drinks, desert and environment
After finishing dinner, drinks and dessert were ready for us to try. The shop offers many kinds of drinks, and also flavored beers, which I have tasted for the first time! My friend and I tried coffee-flavored beer and fruit-flavored beer; we were hesitant at first but after drinking them, we love them! The beers were surprisingly good and drinking flavored beers was a new experience for us, so if you come here, I recommend you to try them all!
The decorations of the shop make you feel relaxed and all staff are really nice and friendly. The food and drinks are reasonably priced, so you can order a lot and enjoy eating and talking with your companions.
You can also stay at the hostel upstairs
This place is also a hostel from the second floor to the fifth floor, providing private rooms and dorm-type rooms. The twin room/double room costs about 6800-9000 yen/night and a bed in a dorm costs about 2600-3000 yen/night.
