Yufuin Gettouan

Within this 33,000 square-meter large area you'll find 18 private guest rooms all with their own open-air bath. The building itself is old Japanese-style with over 300 years of history including a suspension bridge to reach the guest rooms from the main building. From the open-air bath, you're able to directly see the majestic view of Mount Yufu and a beautiful starry night sky.

Yufuin Baien re-opened after a renewal project in March of 2021, adding private rooms to the restaurant as well as a large indoor bathing area. There is a reservation-based family bathing area that can be used for free as many times as you wish and a 9,900-meter square garden that has sights to offer throughout the 4 seasons. The meals you can eat here include local dishes that use the famous local mineral water and more.
