If you choose the main building in the East, there is a dedicated hot spring and fitness room. The West cottages can hold up to 8 people in the largest, so it is very convenient for large groups. The Karuizawa Marriott: Spend Some Leisurely Time Among the Trees in Naka-Karuizawa
The Karuizawa Marriott Hotel has a main wing with the restaurant, a north wing with private hot springs in every room, and cottages that allow dogs. The big hot spring bath in the main wing and the private hot springs in the north wing rooms have different natural hot spring sources. If you stay in the north wing, you can experience both types.

The Kyu-Mikasa Hotel : The Historic, High-Class Hotel in Karuizawa
The Kyu-Mikasa Hotel is a hotel with western-style architecture that was open for business from 1906 through 1970. When it first opened, the hotel was where important visitors to Karuizawa stayed and was a centre of high-society in Karuizawa. In 1980, after it was closed, the hotel was proclaimed an Important Cultural Asset, and now you can visit and view the interior. When you’re standing in the lobby or guest rooms, it feels like you could bump into some of the young people who used to grace its halls.
