It is a recipe of steamed tofu cake with low calorie and stomach filling. For those people who are trying to lose weight, you must try this! The cake can be last for 3 to 4 days by storage it in refrigerated. You can also use half of the ingredient to make a smaller portion which can be finished in one meal. If you still cannot finish it, please storage by freezing it. When you want to eat it, you can let it naturally defreeze or you may use a microwave oven to heat it up. ♪ It is delicious to be served with jam or maple syrup as well.

Ingredients (Portion for two people)

  • Raw tofu 100g
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of milk

How to make

  1. Break the egg into a bowl and stir it, then add in the tofu and sugar, and stir it again.
  2. Add milk little by a little while stirring it until the dough has the flowing hardness. (adjust the amount the milk yourself as the dough may become sticky depending on the moisture of the tofu you bought)
  3. Place the dough into a bowl and wrap softly. Then heat it up at 600 w for 4 minutes. Skew the cake with a bamboo skewer, if no dough is stacked on the skewer then the cake is ready. However, if the dough stacked on the skewer then add on 30 seconds heating time and then try again with a skewer.
  4. Leave it for 2 minutes to moisten it and serve it with a container!
