“Original KANSAI ONE PASS”- As Simple as Waving over Readers for Transport and Shopping!
The current “Kansai One Pass” on sales is a prepaid transit card for inbound visitors in Japan; and the “Original Kansai One Pass” version is exclusive for game participants. The charge is already included in the participants and audience package, wile it is also open for residents in Japan as an option to purchase upon registration (starting from Feb 2020). It covers a range of public transportation, so you don’t need to spend time buying single-use tickets every time you walk on and off transportation. Just make sure you store enough funds in the card and you are good to use it to tour around immediately.
The card can also be used for so much more than just public transportation; cardholders can use their card funds to pay at convenience stores, restaurants, stores, and vending machines. The card couldn’t be simpler to use- you wave it over readers. With the card, worries like “the foreign coins are so confusing”, “I am having more and more coins” would be all gone.
“Original JR Kansai Wide Area Pass” Travelling around the event area is great value!
“Kansai Wide Area Pass” is another public transit card for visitors in Japan .You are able to use the non-reserved seats on the JR Sanyō Shinkansen (Between Shin-Osaka and Okayama including the Nozomi and Mizuho), as well as the limited express, express, regular train, West JR Bus, Kyoto Tango Railway, Wakayama electric railway and the Chizu express within the Kansai Area (Excluding parts of Tottori Prefecture and Tokushima Prefecture)
The “Original JR Kansai Wide Area Pass” this time for “WMG 2021 KANSAI” comes with an extended map covering also Tottori. It offers a consecutive 7-day hop-on-and-off, and it is an offer exclusively for participants. The charge is included in the participant and audience package for non-Japan residents; foreigners living in Japan and Japanese participants could purchase it as an option upon registration (starting from Feb 2020). In addition, there is a value-added service only for holders of “Original Kansai Wide Area Pass”, which is a 5 consecutive days transit pass in Tokushima prefecture (tentative).

In Kyoto where the opening ceremony of WMG2021 KANSAI will take place, there are various shrines and temples having a long history. Explore all of these traditional places whilst trying various traditional foods and sweets from Japan. Visit the three main Kumano Shrines of Wakayama Prefecture, and feel some of Japan’s mystery.
