2026 Marks the 100th Anniversary of the Original "Winnie the Pooh"! What is the Commemorative Project, Disney Store "HAPPIER WITH YOU"?
Since the original story was published in 1926, "Winnie the Pooh" has been loved across generations. Set in the "100 Acre Wood," the warm friendships and adventures of Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, and their friends are depicted.
In 2026, the 100th anniversary of the original debut, Walt Disney Japan is launching the commemorative project "Disney Store 'HAPPIER WITH YOU.'" The project is filled with the wish: "May the time spent with your loved ones and your favorite Pooh become even happier."
The navigator for this project is actress Tsubasa Honda. In addition to Honda, collections co-created with up-and-coming artists and popular brands will also be available.
This project will start on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Disney Store locations and the official Disney online store. There will be special decorations, new collections, a variety of activities, and many exciting plans to celebrate the 100th anniversary in grand style.

At the Disney Flagship Tokyo in Shinjuku, a special decoration inspired by "Pooh's 100 Acre Wood" has appeared on the basement floor (B1F).
When you enter the store, illustrations from the original picture book spread across the walls and ceiling of the staircase leading down to the basement floor (B1F).
At the bottom of the stairs, you'll find a space decorated with forest illustrations and leaves! With wooden walls and doors, it feels just like stepping into Pooh's house. It's as if you've entered the world of a story, filling you with excitement.
Inside, you'll find shelves decorated with honey pots, plush toys of Pooh and Piglet, as well as new collections commemorating the 100th anniversary, including flavored teas and waffle cookies in drawstring bags.
If you head to the back left, you'll see a large tree standing in the center, with leaves overhead! The new collection is lined up along both walls.
Further inside, you'll find Pooh and his friends happily having a party together. It's the perfect spot for a commemorative photo, so be sure to take a picture with them!
The decorations also include playful features. If you peek into the red, yellow, and blue wooden boxes on the wall, you can see introductions to the friends of the forest. You'll want to check each one to see what kind of character they are.
On the wall, you'll also find letters featuring famous and touching quotes selected from the book "Disney Winnie the Pooh Quotes." The letters can be opened and closed, so it's fun to look for words that catch your eye and actually touch them.
In addition, there are several buttons on the wall labeled "PUSH." When you press them, you can hear Pooh's gentle voice! Be sure to look for the buttons when you visit the venue.
