Universal Studios Japan will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. To express our gratitude for the past quarter century, we will present a year filled with special experiences under the theme “Discover U!!!” from Wednesday, March 4, 2026, to Tuesday, March 30, 2027.* Limited-time merchandise featuring Pokémon, Mario, and other characters that will liven up the parade—as well as items inspired by attractions from the park’s early days—will also be released. Sales will begin sequentially from Monday, March 2, 2026.
In this news update, we’ll share the latest information on limited-time food and merchandise that will help you enjoy the 25th anniversary’s festival-like celebration even more.

At the park’s 25th anniversary celebration, both restaurants and food carts will be packed with special menu items that help make this “festival” truly spectacular. In honor of the park’s 25th anniversary, a wide variety of celebratory, anniversary-themed dishes will be rolling out one after another.
For easy, on-the-go bites, a lineup of playful “serious parody” menu items will appear, created in collaboration with popular products from Baskin-Robbins, Kewpie, Itoham, Suntory, and Yakult. These items feature bold, humorous twists in both appearance and concept. The park’s classic walk-and-eat favorites—popcorn and turkey legs—will even be transformed into surprising new versions. Meanwhile, Studio Stars Restaurant, which has been loved since the park first opened, will undergo a full menu renewal in honor of the 25th anniversary. Fan-favorite eateries Mel’s Drive-In and Louie’s N.Y. Pizza Parlor will offer special menu sets that come with original 25th-anniversary coasters featuring designs inspired by opening-day attractions such as E.T. and Back to the Future.
As for park merchandise, there will be original goods for the grand 25th-anniversary “festival,” including items themed around the “NO LIMIT! Parade ~Discover U!!! Version~.” Movie lovers can also look forward to special collaboration merchandise featuring E.T., Back to the Future, Jaws, and Jurassic Park. With both food and merchandise, the entire park will come together to make the 25th-anniversary celebration bigger and more exciting than ever.
Universal Studios Japan Parodies Those Popular Products!? Impactful “Serious Parody” On-the-go Food
Get excited for food packed with an anniversary vibe and surprising collaboration menu items! “Serious parody” on-the-go foods, featuring playful designs and ideas, will appear in collaboration with popular products from Baskin-Robbins, Kewpie, Itoham, Suntory, and Yakult.
At “Universal Market” [Sales start: Tuesday, March 3, 2026], crispy churros that recreate everyone’s favorite Baskin-Robbins ice cream will be available, including “Baskin-Robbins Churritos － Popping Shower” and "Baskin-Robbins Churritos － Love Potion #31.”
From Kewpie, there is the eye-catching "Mayo Mayo Tuna Mayo Corn Bun," which looks just like mayonnaise and is packed full of corn and mayo for maximum impact. Itoham presents the impressive "Alt Bayern Dog ~Meat Monster~," featuring an extra-large Alto Bayern sausage over 35cm long. In addition, there will be limited-edition Coca-Cola bottles designed with the 25th anniversary theme "Discover U!!!" and many other delicious and fun street foods to make the festival even more exciting.
At "Park Side Grill" [Available from Tuesday, March 3, 2026], you can enjoy the "Kakubin Whisky-Scented Tiramisu," featuring the pleasant fragrance of Suntory's "Kakubin" whisky. This takeout dessert is bite-sized and perfect for eating on the go.

At "Wharf Café" [Available from Wednesday, April 1, 2026], the hugely popular "Yakult Soft Serve Sundae ~Mango~," which can only be enjoyed in the park, is back and even better than before. This exquisite dessert features a perfect match of tropical mango flavor. Don’t miss this special collaboration menu unique to the park.
In addition, at food carts inside the park (such as the "Space Fantasy The Ride Food Cart" [Available from Tuesday, March 3, 2026]), there are surprising collaborations between classic food cart menu items. The ever-popular turkey leg, which you’ll want to take a big bite of at least once, is now wrapped in fluffy bun dough as the "Turkey Leg!? Bun." There is also the ultimate tag-team menu item that goes beyond imagination, "Caramel Popcorn!? Churritos," combining popcorn and churros. These fun and unique foods are perfect for the 25th anniversary festival atmosphere.
"Studio Stars Restaurant" is being fully renewed with an all-American menu!
Since the park first opened, "Studio Stars Restaurant" [Available from Tuesday, March 3, 2026] has been beloved by guests. To celebrate the 25th anniversary, the menu is being completely renewed. While keeping the concept of a "Hollywood movie studio cafeteria overflowing with extraordinary atmosphere," the new menu will feature all-American dishes such as BBQ pork ribs and hamburgers.
Additionally, the limited-time 25th Anniversary menu item, the "Studio Stars 25th Anniversary Special Meal," is now available. This impressive plate features a gigantic bone-in steak that will blow you away, a towering stack of onion rings, and a mountain of fries smothered in cheese sauce. Everything is served in a big, bold size that is sure to impress. Gather your friends around and the excitement is guaranteed. Enjoy the festive mood of the 25th anniversary to the fullest with this special plate.

When the park first opened, the “popcorn bucket” featuring Snoopy driving a school bus with the Peanuts gang peeking out the windows was a popular item. Now, it’s making a comeback as a “lunch box.” In addition, Woody Woodpecker and Winnie Woodpecker, who have been bringing smiles to guests for 25 years, are now featured on a special anniversary drink cup. The glove-shaped cap on the straw is a fun detail. Many more special items that bring back the excitement of those days will be released in sequence. A grand “festival” to celebrate the 25th anniversary! To coincide with the launch of the “NO LIMIT! Parade ~Discover U!!! Version~,” we are releasing original merchandise that you can enjoy together with Mario and Pikachu. In addition, as an item to further boost the excitement of the parade, a “Parade Flag” featuring the 25th anniversary theme “Discover U!!!” is also available. We are offering special merchandise that allows guests to participate as members of the “festival” themselves.

The 25th anniversary theme “Discover U!!!” was created with two meanings: “Discover You,” where you encounter a new side of yourself beyond your imagination, and “Discover USJ,” reflecting on the park’s 25-year journey and rediscovering the power of entertainment. New items are debuting, including plush toys and mascot keychains of the Minions from Illumination, Sesame Street, Peanuts, and Hello Kitty, all dressed in super colorful outfits and fashion that express this theme. There are also new items featuring all the park’s friends gathered together to celebrate the 25th anniversary!
