Universal Studios Japan will launch the special event “Universal Cool Japan 2026,” where you can fully immerse yourself in the ultra-realistic worlds of globally popular Japanese entertainment works, starting Friday, January 30, 2026! Here’s a detailed summary of the must-see highlights.

Five Major Japanese Works Gather! “Universal Cool Japan 2026”

The ever-popular “Universal Cool Japan 2026” will kick off on January 30, 2026. This time, five titles with overwhelming recognition across Asia will come together.

Detective Conan World

An experience offering the highest level of tension ever will debut, linked to the latest movie “Detective Conan: The Angel Fallen on the Highway.”

Detective Conan: The Escape ~Prologue to the Highway~

This year, all participants become “hostages” in a shocking real escape game. Chisato Hagiwara and Jugo Yokomizo also appear, taking on the challenge of stopping a bombing.

Detective Conan Mystery Restaurant

The ever-popular restaurant is powered up with live singing! A new “Mystery × Food × Music” experience! This year, Shinichi Kudo and Ran Mouri, before the birth of Conan Edogawa, appear, and you’ll work together with them to solve a case in this unique restaurant.

JUJUTSU KAISEN: The Real 4-D ~The Spinning Clock Tower~

The highly anticipated second collaboration features a completely new original story. With 3D visuals and special effects, you’ll be thrown right into the heart of the sorcerers’ battles. Not only Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, but also Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto in their Jujutsu High days will appear in intense battle scenes right before your eyes.

Keigo Higashino’s “Masquerade” Series: “The Targeted Masquerade Ball”

A real mystery show in buffet style set at Hotel Cortesia. The menu will be renewed with Venetian-inspired dishes.

The first-ever themed restaurant based on the world of the smash-hit game “Monster Hunter Wilds,” which has sold over 10 million copies worldwide, is now open. In a restaurant recreating “Moribā’s Hideout” in the lush Scarlet Forest, guests can enjoy campfire-style cuisine while feeling like a true Hunter.

Especially after the 25th Anniversary Parade begins in March, be sure to make your reservation at least one month in advance!
