Okayama Prefectural Museum of Art Opening Hours and Ticket Fees

The Okayama Prefectural Museum of Art is open from 9:00 to 17:00, and last entry is 30 minutes before closing. It is closed on Mondays, and if Monday is a holiday, it is closed on the following day. In addition, the museum is closed during the year-end and New Year holidays, as well as during the exhibition rotation period.

The admission fee is 350 yen per adult. The fee may vary depending on the contents of the special exhibition. (As of September 2019)

How to Get to Okayama Prefectural Museum of Art

There are three ways to access the Okayama Prefectural Museum of Art: On foot, tram, and local bus from JR Okayama Station.

Among these, using the Okayama Korakuen bus is quick and convenient. Take the bus from JR Okayama Station Korakuen Exit (East Exit) No. 1, and arrive at the Okayama Prefectural Museum of Art bus stop in about 3 minutes. The museum is located right where you get off.
