At the all-indoor theme park "Sanrio Puroland" located in Tama City, Tokyo, the Halloween event, Puro Monster Scramble, styled PUROMONSTERSCRAMBLE on the park’s own signage, is being held from Friday, September 11 to Tuesday (holiday), November 3, 2026.
This year's theme is "KAWAII × MONSTER HALLOWEEN." Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Bad Badtz-Maru appear dressed up as fluffy, cuddly monsters.
Additionally, for the first time ever, there is a collaboration with the globally popular POP MART character LABUBU. You can enjoy a 360-degree immersive live show, horror attractions, and limited-edition goods and food, offering a unique experience different from the usual Puroland.

Experience Report: Halloween at Sanrio Puroland!
Special Collaboration: POP MART LABUBU × Sanrio!
The highlight of Halloween 2026 is the first-ever collaboration with POP MART's LABUBU. LABUBU is a character from POP MART's THE MONSTERS series, known for its nine teeth and pointed ears, and has a curious and mischievous personality.
In this collaboration, Hello Kitty and friends dressed as monsters appear together with LABUBU. You can enjoy the collaboration in various places, including live shows, decorations throughout the park, and photo spots.
Once you enter the park, you'll find the usual KAWAII world with added monster elements for a special Halloween atmosphere.
Starting from the 3F entrance, various areas inside the park are decorated with fluffy fur and neon colors. There is also a limited-time PUROMONSTERSCRAMBLE photo spot on the 3rd floor, so it's recommended to start your visit with a commemorative photo!
At the entrance to the 1F Entertainment Hall, you'll find the "Monster Detection Gate" to check if you've fully transformed into a monster. You can immerse yourself in the Halloween world even before the show begins.
Next to the gate, there is also a free receipt photo booth! Anyone can use it, so why not take a commemorative photo as a memory of Halloween?
60-Degree Immersive Live Show: Puro Monster Scramble Party
The brand-new Puro Monster Scramble Party is a 20-minute, 360-degree immersive live show held at the 1F Entertainment Hall.
Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Bad Badtz-Maru will appear dressed as monsters. LABUBU will also join as a special guest!
In addition to effects like fiber beams and smoke that envelop the entire venue, there are performances using glowing sticks and dances that guests can join in. Voice acting is provided by Subaru Kimura, known for his role as Gian in the popular Japanese anime Doraemon. The main theme song is produced by FAKE TYPE., and choreography and direction are by Harris.
Before the show, there will also be a limited-time Puro Monster Scramble DJ Time! At each session, one character from Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, or Bad Badtz-Maru will appear as a DJ, livening up the venue with popular songs and past parade music. This stage lasts about 10 minutes.
💡Editor's Experience Report
The show is all-standing and photography is freely allowed. I was able to enjoy the sense of unity in the venue in a relaxed atmosphere! Many characters appear, each with their own unique personality, making them instantly lovable. The show has a storyline, but since it's mainly singing and dancing, I think you can enjoy it even if you don't understand Japanese!
Thrilling Experience for Adults: Noroware Pierrot Supervised by Obaken
If cute alone isn't enough for you, head to the horror version, Noroware Pierrot.
The popular attraction, Sanrio Character Boat Ride, transforms into a special horror version exclusively for the Halloween season.
The story takes place on the boat ride after closing time. As mysterious sightings are reported one after another, staff members are struck by terror, leaving behind the cryptic phrase, "If you see them three times, you'll be cursed." Guests become part of the investigation team, searching for the truth behind the three Noroware Pierrot lurking on the boat ride.
The production and supervision are handled by Obaken, a creator of numerous horror contents in Japan. The experience lasts about 10 minutes and is recommended for junior high school students and older. In 2026, it will be held on Friday, September 11, and on weekends and holidays after 16:00 during the event period.
💡Editor's Experience Report
Even just having the lights and music turned off in the usually cute boat ride created a chilling atmosphere... It was so scary that I couldn't help but scream out loud, "Aaaah!!!"
Limited-Time Goods & Halloween-Exclusive Food
Don't miss out on the limited-edition goods that will get you in the Halloween spirit.
The lineup includes mascot plushies of characters in new Puro Monster Scramble costumes, fluffy fur accessories, and neon-colored headbands. Each item features unique designs that reflect the individuality of each character, letting you enjoy the Halloween mood just by wearing them.
And of course, the food is also Halloween-themed.
The menu features visually delightful items such as curries, parfaits, and drinks inspired by characters. With playful decorations and Halloween-inspired colors, you can fully immerse yourself in the world of your favorite characters.
If you incorporate limited-time food items into your lunch or café time, you can fully enjoy the Halloween spirit even during your meals.
💡 Editor’s Experience Report
It's almost too cute to eat! The item I tried was the LABUBU and Puro Monster's Cool & Cute! Almond Jelly Peach Parfait (1,000 yen), which was just the right size for a dessert after a meal or as a snack. The limited-edition pick featuring LABUBU, who has joined the lineup, was also adorable, so I took it home as a keepsake♪
