The “Sanrio Exhibition,” which has toured various locations throughout Japan since 2021, has reached its grand finale. “Sanrio Exhibition FINAL ver.: 60 Years of Japanese Kawaii Culture” opened on Thursday, April 9 at the Mori Arts Center Gallery (Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, 52nd floor).

Prior to the opening, a preview and opening event were held, with Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll making special appearances to celebrate.

Highlights of the “Sanrio Exhibition FINAL ver.”

This exhibition is the final venue of the “Sanrio Exhibition,” which toured 19 cities nationwide and attracted over 850,000 visitors, commemorating the 60th anniversary of Sanrio Co., Ltd. The “Sanrio Exhibition FINAL ver.” features the largest display in the exhibition’s history, with approximately 1,500 Sanrio goods and over 200 characters on display. In addition, a special collaboration corner with the popular “Sanrio Character Ranking” event has been newly established, offering a total of 100 quizzes related to Sanrio characters. Visitors can enjoy both the exhibits and the quizzes, discovering new charms of the all-time favorite characters as well as those they may not know yet.

While tracing over 60 years of Sanrio’s history, the exhibition also introduces how “Kawaii” culture has grown and the “Sanrio spirit” behind it, through valuable designs and products.

Collaboration Project with the “2026 Sanrio Character Ranking”!

From Thursday, April 9, 2026 to Sunday, May 24, 2026, visitors to the Sanrio Exhibition FINAL ver. will receive one “2026 Sanrio Character Ranking Voting Card” for each ticket purchased, as well as for every 550 yen (tax included) spent on merchandise.

*The number of cards distributed will correspond to the total purchase amount (tax included).
*Distribution of voting cards will end once supplies run out.
*Each voting card can be used for one vote.
*For each “General/University/Vocational Student Ticket,” four cards will be distributed on weekdays and five on weekends and holidays. For each “Elementary/Junior High/High School Student Ticket,” one card will be distributed on weekdays and two on weekends and holidays. Cards are distributed at the exchange counter inside the exhibition room on the day of admission only.
*For tickets with an original tote bag, 11 Sanrio Character Ranking voting cards will be distributed per ticket at the exchange counter inside the exhibition room on the day of admission only.
