【Tips】How to Enjoy Disney 120% in January, February, and March

Preparation is essential to enjoy the park comfortably in winter. As someone who visits Tokyo Disney Resort about 10 times a year, the author will share advice based on experience experiences and research.

MonthFeatures and Advice
JanuaryBeware of Extreme Cold】The sea breeze is very strong, so it is recommended to wear functional underwear and a thick down jacket. From mid to late January, the park is relatively empty compared to the rest of the year, making it perfect for taking photos. Also, mobile batteries drain faster in the cold, so be sure to bring a battery with enough capacity and check for charging spots inside the park.
FebruaryLunar New Year Holidays and Students】In mid-February, there are holidays in Asian countries, and Japanese junior high and high school students are off for entrance exams, so even weekdays can be crowded. Use paid reservation services like Disney Premier Access (DPA) and mobile ordering to smartly avoid long lines. It is still very cold in February, so make sure to dress warmly!
MarchTemperature Swings and Students】Some days are warm during the day, but it gets very cold after sunset. Hand warmers and scarves are essential. Even if it is sunny, strong winds can make it cold, so a fan cap that covers your head is useful. However, from March, winter goods may start to sell out, so be careful if you plan to buy them at the park. Japanese students are on spring break, so weekdays continue to be crowded after February.
