Where is the Chubu Area (Tokai, Central Highlands, Hokuriku)?

Tokai area, Central Highlands, and Hokuriku are usually grouped together as Chubu. Tokai area includes three prefectures- Aichi, Gifu, and Shizuoka. The Central Highlands refers to the mountain area of Yamanashi, Nagano and Gifu. And, Hokuriku area is Niigata, Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui.

Aichi Prefecture, Nagoya City Donichi (Weekends) Eco Ticket

  • Price: 600 yen (adult)
  • Validity: within 24 hours after the first ride
  • Area(s): within Nagoya city
  • Remarks:
    • Only on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and the 8th of the month (Environmental- friendly day)
    • Also for international residents in Japan.

Fuji Hakone Pass

  • Remarks:
    • Up to 4 rides for free seat of JR local lines.
