The organic café that’s the perfect place for a late lunch in Shibuya! Your body’s sure to thank you!

Hey, everybody!
You know those times when you’re so busy shopping or sightseeing that you end up missing lunch?
At times like those, places that serve a “late lunch” really come in handy.
Today I’m going to be introducing an organic café in the town that has it all, the amazing Shibuya, which serves lunch until 5 pm! Its name is BIO Cafe!

The café is about four minutes’ walk from Shibuya Station.
Turn left between Seibu Shibuya Building A and Building B, then head up Spain-zaka and you’ll find it on the right-hand side.

Here it is!

The café’s façade is just like a real French boulangerie.

Time to head inside!

Inside is cozy, chicly decorated, and very inviting!

The concept behind BIO Cafe is of a cafe restaurant with food that makes you beautiful, and the lunch menu is filled with dishes made using konjac, tofu, wheat germ, and other ingredients that your body is sure to thank you for!
As well as the meals on the Grand Lunch Menu, which all come with salad and a choice of drink including organic coffee or tea, and herbal teas listed according to their benefits, there’s the Business Lunch Set, which is only available on weekdays (you can take the drink with you when you go!) and the Curry Set, which is only available on weekends and holidays.

This is the Couscous with Beef Tendon and Konjac.

The couscous comes with konjac, kidney beans, and other ingredients, and is served with a spiced tomato source.
It’s delicious with a faintly spicy taste, and you can’t stop eating once you get started!

The wonderfully flavorsome Tofu Gratin with Tempeh and Spring Vegetables is served up piping hot in a cocotte pot, and includes kuruma-bu (wheel-shaped gluten cakes), broad beans, and more.

This super-healthy side salad comes with a homemade dressing, and is garnished with prunes, soy milk cream, and bagel toast.

If you’re going to be walking around Shibuya, I’d also recommend getting one of their bagels to go! They’re made with Japanese flour and organic natural yeast!
