EF24-70mm F2.8L II USM
When purchasing a camera, in most cases it usually comes with 20mm~70mm standard zoom lens. This lens is one class higher than the included standard lens. It offers f2.8 aperture for all zoom range. This telephoto zoom lens is available at lower price. It suits both full frame and APS-C sized EOS and can be used as ultra-telephoto lens with 112 ~480mm focal length for APS-C sized EOS. As it can easily zoom to 300mm and above, it is also called “sport zoom” in Japan, and is widely preferred by the amateur photographers. Highly evaluated for its capability of taking soft and beautiful blurred background, this medium telephoto macro lens is suitable for photographing small subjects such as flowers and portrait photography. The minimum focus distance is 0.29mm which is not short at all; it is equivalent to 90mm, and is able to take close up photos of flower’s petals, small insects, etc. This is the perfect lens for taking photos with blur effect which is not possible using a standard lens.
