Here is the easy Homemade Ramen Recipe:

Ingredients (portion for one pax)

  • Soy sauce flavor Instant 1 pack
  • Your meat of choice (Recommendation: 1st: Pork, 2nd: Chicken, 3rd: Beef) 50 g
  • Onion, carrot, green pepper, bean sprouts and other favorite vegetables 100g
  • Mirin 2 tsp.
  • 2 teaspoons of water soluble potato powder

Instruction

  1. Boil the water in a pot(water portion as per instructed by instant noodle packaging’s instruction). When the water is boiling, put in the cut meat and the cut vegetables into the pot. Then, lay in the noodle and mix it, and stop the fire when it is boiled.
  2. Add in the attached soup powder of instant noodle into the pot, stir it and remove out the noodle and ingredients to a dish.
  3. Continue boil the soup in the pot. When it is boiled, change to lower heat and add in the water soluble potato powder while stirring the boiling water.
  4. When the texture become starchy, put this starchy sauce as topping on your noodle.

The common topping for Miso ramen are corn and butter. In the event that if you don’t have butter when making miso ramen, you could actually replace butter with peanut butter instead. You just have to add in 1 or 2 tablespoons of peanut butter to adjust your ramen taste richer or milder as per your taste.

While it is recommended to use the half-boiled egg instead of “Ajitsuke Tamago” (seasoned hard-boiled egg), to compliment the delicious Miso ramen. It is delicious no matter you choose to put the whole soft-boiled egg in mouth, or break it apart and eat together with the soup. It is advocated to be eaten with bean sprouts and minced meat also. For those who like to eat spicy, you can add a little Rayu (Spicy Oil) to make it spicy miso ramen. Below is the instruction of how to make a spicy miso ramen with bean sprouts and minced meat:

  • Miso flavor instant noodles 1 pack
  • Minced meat 50 g
  • Salted pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce
  • Bean sprouts as per your preferred portion
  • Ready to eat Rayu(Spicy oil), or normal Rayu as per your preferred portion
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil

Instruction

  1. While boiling the ramen, put the minced meat in a different pan with pre-heat oil and continue stir-fried with salted pepper and oyster sauce.
  2. Add bean sprout and continue stir-fried it.
  3. Place the above topping on your ramen, and pour your favorite portion of rayu to complete the ramen.

Sliced chashu(roasted pork) is always used as topping of salt ramen because the soup can be seeped to it easily. Normally, if you want an easy topping then a simple corn and butter will just fine. Furthermore, salt ramen is nice to be served together with seafood especially clams, because the essence from the clams will make the soup tastier.   • Salt flavor instant noodle 1 pack
  • Asari (clam) 100 ~ 150 grams
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Sake(Liquor) 1 tablespoon
  • Green Onion Appropriate Portion

 Instruction

  1. Heat up the butter on a frying pan and add in clam and green onions. When the clams are cooked and opened, pour in sake and close the cover.
  2. Completely open the shell, cover with lid and boil down a little. (To condense umami). Boil the noodles while boiling the soup.
  3. Put the topping of the clam and the soup on your noodle to complete the asari butter salt ramen.

The most common Tonkatsu ramen are sesame, red ginger, black fungus, hard-boiled egg, and thick cut chashu. Besides, grind garlic and fried garlic are also common topping for Tonkatsu ramen. The best topping that we could add to this already exquisite ramen is some takana pickling to make it more tasty and little spicy. With addition of cheese, you can make the soup milder and richer. We are going to introduce you the rare recipe of Tonkotsu cheese ramen as below. 

Ingredients (Portion for one pax)

  • Tonkotsu instant noodle 1 pack
  • 1 piece of cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon of cheese powder
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame
  • A little bit of Salt

 Instruction

  1. Boil the instructed volume of hot water in the pot and put in the cut cabbage.
  2. Put in the noodle in the boiling water, stir it and add in the seasoning soup and cheese powder before move to a bowl.
