Ever wanted to be as beautiful as a maiko? Today I will introduce the Maikohan rouge series from the famous cosmetic company – SANA! If you don’t know SANA, look up the wildly popular Nameraka Honpo, a soymilk based makeup line that has been on the to-buy list of beauty addicts who visit Japan.



As far as I know, the Maiko Rouge is limited only to Japan, and hence you should try to get your hands on it! The dedicated display only proves to show how wildly popular this product is.



The rouge comes in three colors and can be used as both a cheek tint, as well as a rouge.



The packaging for the product is compact, and each rouge comes with its own mirror, making application a breeze.



The texture of the product is creamy and glides on effortlessly onto my skin. While the product is slightly oily for my liking, I believe that it serves only to moisturize my cheeks and lips. Most importantly, I am in love with the coral color as it complements my medium skintone very well.
 
I got mine at Shinjuku Isetan, but each rouge retails approximately 900 yen at most beauty stores. Want to be beautiful like a Maiko? Be sure to look out for it when you visit Japan!
