Honey ice-cream from Sugi Bee Garden shop in Sugamo

Sugi Bee Garden is a famous brand of cosmetics made from natural Japanese honey in a shop located in Sugamo.

Here is the shop’s second attraction, honey flavored ice-cream!

Looks delicious, doesn’t it? The milk-based soft cream is flavored with natural honey.

You can order it plain or with syrup on the top.

Three flavours are available: Blueberry, Yuzu (Japanese citrus) and Maple.

Usually honey flavored ice cream is far too sweet but this one was perfect!

The yuzu syrup has a nice citrus flavored with a little bit of bitterness and was totally balanced with the ice.

The syrup is also made with honey and is sold in the shop. It can be mixed with water to obtain a natural sweet drink.

You can taste many flavors in the shop and clerks will give you some sample to drink as well.

The honey based cosmetics and foods are very popular among Asian tourists, so the shop made a special duty-free service for foreigners.
