Today let me share “Triangular Onirigi (rice ball)” recipe.
Though they are called Rice Balls, they are more of a triangular shape than a ball shape. It is challenging yet fun, attempting to achieve a good, even-shaped triangular onigiri.

How To Shape
1. Wash your hands thoroughly before making onigiri, however sometimes it is safe and easy to make Onigiri using plastic food wrap.
2. Place the scoop of rice in the centre,of the wrap, sprinkle some salt, and then shape it.
3. If you don’t use plastic wrap, wet your hands and spread some salt over the palm. Place a scoop of rice in the palm of your hand.
4. Pack the rice with the other hand and shape the sides and edges.
5. Gently rotate the rice ball several times and form a triangle.

How do you feel when you look this recipe? It’s up to you if you cook with other optional favorite ingredients.
Grilled Salmon Umeboshi,Katsuobushi with soy sauce are typical ingredients. But I l love Tuna with mayonnaise so much!! It would be easy to cook it. And I’m glad to find out any hints that you arrange your home cooking!
