At Sanrio Puroland (hereafter referred to as Puroland), the Christmas event "Puroland Illumination Christmas" will be held from Friday, November 6, 2026, to Friday, December 25, 2026.
This event, themed around "Getting Ready for Christmas," lets you enjoy a special Christmas together with Sanrio characters as you help Santa with his preparations. Guests themselves can participate in various "helping out" activities throughout the park, filling Puroland with sparkling lights.
During the event period, a brand-new illumination show, "Sweet Sparkle Illumination," will be performed. Hello Kitty and Kiki & Lala will appear via voice, and the show will feature new songs as well as a Christmas arrangement of the main parade theme song, "My Happiness" from "The Quest of Wonders Parade." Guests can join in the dancing to these songs, helping to make the Christmas celebration even more lively.
Furthermore, Puroland will collaborate for the first time with "The Bears' School." Jackie, the bear girl from the picture book series, will help explain the participation dance for the new illumination show. There will also be picture book readings, a stamp rally around the park, and special collaborative merchandise and food, offering plenty of content for parents and children to enjoy together.
For a limited time, various "helping out" activities will appear throughout the park. There will be plenty of interactive content for guests to enjoy, such as the "Wonder Ribbon Light Challenge," where you explore the park with a Wonder Ribbon Light, and the Christmas version of the "Tick Tock Castle Dance." At the workshop-style attraction "CHALLENGE PURO (Patissier Experience)," you can try making original Christmas-themed sweets using limited-edition picks. The park will also feature special decorations and photo spots with scents and lighting effects for the season. In addition, Christmas-themed food and merchandise will be available for a limited time.
Enjoy a unique Christmas at Puroland, surrounded by sparkling lights together with the Sanrio characters.
