The original work is the latest from Takashi Sano, the author of "Back When You Called Us Devils" (Kimi ga Bokura wo Akuma to Yonda Koro) which has sold over 2 million copies in total. The story of "From the Dust" starts with a shocking event where a poison gas terrorist attack occurs at a terminal station in Tokyo at the end of the year. The incident, which resulted in 666 casualties, is named "The Beast" after the "number of the beast". The perpetrator who died on the spot was a popular young actress, Kotone Kido, who was the only childhood friend of the protagonist, Hajime Kanzaki. Why did Kotone have to become a beast? Kitayama, who has continued his music activities by releasing songs such as "乱心-RANSHIN-" and "JOKER", is returning to the lead role in a TV Tokyo drama as an actor for the first time in about three years!
