The popular Sanrio character "Pochacco", who has been in the top 5 of the "Sanrio Character Grand Prix" popularity vote for five consecutive years, celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2024. To commemorate the 35th anniversary, a limited-time "Pochacco Cafe" will be open in Tokyo and Osaka from February 2 (Friday) to March 10 (Sunday), 2024.

"Pochacco" is a curious, clumsy male dog who loves to take detours for walks. His birthday is on February 29th, which means that in the leap year of 2024, Pochacco's birthday on February 29th will come! To commemorate both the 35th anniversary and his birthday, a theme cafe was opened in Harajuku, Tokyo and Shinsaibashi, Osaka from February 2nd (Friday) to March 10th (Sunday), 2024, focusing on banana ice cream, which Pochacco loves, and imagining a "Banana Ice Cream Specialty Store".

The cafe features a projection of videos packed with past designs, and offers a menu of 8 types of food and drinks full of bananas, as well as a plethora of cafe original goods and benefits using newly drawn art. In addition, the "Pochacco Party in Kiddy Land" is being held at some "Kiddy Land" stores. Enjoy the 35th anniversary period with cute and delicious food and Pochacco goods. In commemoration of Pochacco's 35th anniversary, "Pochacco Party in Kiddy Land" is being held at some Kiddy Land stores. They are selling products such as IC card cases, pouches, and mugs. In addition, for those who purchase Sanrio Characters products including Pochacco products for 2,000 yen or more (including tax), they are giving away one Kiddy Land exclusive hologram sticker (3 types in total, random) per purchase (one novelty per person per purchase, while supplies last).
