GODIVA Japan has opened the world's first "GODIVA Bakery GODIPAN Main Store" on the first floor of the Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo).

The "GODIVA Bakery GODIPAN Main Store" is based on the concept of "town bakery meets GODIVA", and reinterprets Japanese evolved sweet bread and savory bread with a new idea from the chocolatier, proposing a fusion of nostalgia and novelty.

Wrapped in a soy milk bread dough is a white chocolate custard cream kneaded with Uji matcha powder. Hidden inside is a dark chocolate bar, and you can enjoy the combination of its slight bitterness and the fragrant matcha cream.

The cacao, the raw material for chocolate, is actually a tropical fruit. The taste of its white pulp is so juicy that it's hard to imagine from the slightly bitter taste of chocolate.
