Precise Edo Kiriko Cuts Made in the Image of Mt. Fuji!
These sake glasses made from crystal glass have been cut to perfection. This method of cutting the glass creates an end product that displays the beauty of the crystal glass, and is recognized as the main processing technology in the field. KAGAMI’s cut glass, which boasts a high refractive index, allows for a design that displays its deep, precise cuts as well as a pure and refined tone loved across Japan. This pair of Edo Kiriko Glasses with their Mt. Fuji have been created with the blue and red background in mind which can only be seen at very specific times of the year in Japan. The blue glass represents the scenery of summer when there is no snow atop Mt. Fuji while the red glass represents the end of summer and the start of fall when the air starts to become cooler with clouds and fog atop Mt. Fuji and a red background.
