In Edo-Tokyo Open-air Architectural Museum (Tatemonoen) you can enjoy an old Japanese street with buildings from the end of the 19th century to the 1930s.
You can even enter in every shop like brush shop, soy sauce shop, inn or even an old bathhouse !
The museum is located inside the very big park of Musashi-Koganei, famous for its cherry blossom trees.

I was attracted to the shops (Maruni-shoten) inside the park, so I decided to step inside.
The products that were sold from the era are on display.
Sake and canned foods. The design is no different today from 100 years ago.
The cash register. If a register like this existed today, it would be popular for its retro charm!
Here’s the Ofuro (bathing room). The art on the tiled walls are beautiful! The men are in the back, the women in the front. The wall that divides the men and women are so low, you’d worry that you’d be seen!
The mountains and lake are gorgeous. You can see a small island in the lake, which implies that it’s probably Kawaguchi-ko at the base of Fuji-san.
