Tokyo has Indian curry restaurants absolutely everywhere, and some of them provides halal food.
One of them is the Indian and Pakistani curry restaurant chain Siddique.

There are many shops in Tokyo and two of them are located around Shinjuku.

I went to the Nishi-shinjuku branch for lunch.

Lunch menu starts at only 500yen if you choose a vegetarian curry.
That’s cheap!

Simple lunch menu usually serves salad, one curry plus a big naan or rice.
There are plenty of choices, from butter chicken, dal, seafood, mutton or shrimps for example.

I choose the “daily menu” option which includes a bowl of salad, one curry, and a big hot naan which was around 750yen.

It was a chicken curry with black and white beans.
Delicious!

The restaurant also serves chicken tikka, tandoori, drinks, and plenty of other dishes, and you can also ask for takeaway as well.

Since Siddique is quite a big chain in Tokyo, they also sell packed halal curry as well for 300yen if you buy them at the shop (It’s slightly more expensive on the online shop).
It can be stored at room temperature and warmed in the microwave or boiling water.
