Summer is just too hot !! Living in Tokyo requires a lot of walking and I just couldn’t stop sweating everyday !!(ー_ー)!!
However, there is a merit living in Tokyo is that you can find convenience stores or vending machines almost everywhere. And if you are wondering what soft drink to buy at the convenience store, do try Mitsuya Cider !! My all time favorite carbonated drink .
It is similar to Sprite or Ginger Ale, refreshing and cooling but not too sweet. I have been recommending this drink to my friends and family who visited Japan. And most of them also liked the taste of Mitsuya Cider. The one shown in the picture is the original version of Mitsuya Cider. Besides that, you can always find different flavors of Mitsuya Cider such as Lemon Mitsuya Cider, Grape Mitsuya Cider, Apple Mitsuya Cider,and all kinds of limited edition Mitsuya Cider only for the season.
Too bad I can only find this drink in Japan.. I hope one day Mitsuya Cider will be a common drink that can be easily purchased everywhere like Coca Cola in Malaysia too !! Water hydration is very important at summer. Try having a bottle of Mitsuya Cider to quench your thirst!!
