You can say Tokyo is one of the most expensive places to live in.
Although there are a lot of different types of restaurants, eating out costs a lot.
It is hard to find reasonable and good places to eat.
That is why when you find it, you feel like you want to tell everyone about it, but want to keep it secret to yourself at the same time.
Today, I found this Udon noodle stand I want to share with everyone that is so tasty and also affordable.
I've had a lot of udon noodles before, but I believe it is one of the best places I have ever eaten in Tokyo!
The place is cute and small that can hold probably eight or nine people at the most, or ten if you can squeeze in.
First, you need to purchase a ticket at the vending machine right outside.
If you visit there for the first time and couldn’t decide what to get, I strongly recommend tempura Udon.
Inside of the place, a counter without any chairs surround a kitchen.
You find a spot available for yourself, and put the ticket down on the counter in front of you.
As you wait for your order, you can see how your bowl is getting ready.
You can even feel the heat of deep fried tempura.
That is how tempura is freshly made.
Here is the bowl I ordered today, tempura udon.
The crust of the tempura is crunchy, and once you bite into it, it is so moist and juicy.
Soup is crystal clear, but you can really taste a flavorful stock.
This bowl of udon is only 470yen and it will easily fill you up.
