Nowadays It's said that Japanese food is healthy, fresh and looks like beautiful.
The reason why japanese food has become popular over the years. You might find out Japanese restaurants everywhere around your city. And most of ingredients for Japanese home cooking would be sold at supermarket. Japanese food isn’t only Sushi and Ramen.
Today let me share “Basic Curry Rice Japanese style” recipe.

4 Servings

Ingredientss

Oil 1 tablespoon
Beef, or Pork or Chicken 400g
Onions 1 to 2
Potatoes 1 to 2
Carrots 1
Water (Follow the instruction on the Curry Roux box)
Curry Roux

*you can choose your favorite seasonings and ingredients above.

Method
1. Cut the vegetables and meat.
2. Oil a heated large saucepan or pot and cook meat. Add the vegetables and mix together.
*I like to add a bit of Garlic & Ginger when I first stir fry the meat as it adds a nice flavour.
3. Add water and cook on medium heat until vegetables are tender.
4. Add Curry Raux and simmer on a low heat. The longer you simmer, the richer the flavour.
5. Serve on a plate with rice.

How do you cook the curry in your country? Do you usually use the roux??

Japanese home cooking curry has some particular points. One of them is stickiness. And we have curry with rice. And the taste of curry rice is slightly difference compared to each home cooking. 
Each ingredient would make the complicated good taste!! My favorite curry is based on seafood.
