One of the main reasons people are excited to travel around the world is the food.
Different cultures have different kinds of dishes, and it is always fun to try them.
Ramen is the one of the most popular foods that represent Japan.
A bowl of hot and steamy ramen with various toppings always attracts both Japanese local people and also tourists from overseas.

Tokyo is a city of more than 100,000 different restaurants and sometimes it feels like half of them are serving the same dish; ramen.
Even if you weren’t familiar with the Tokyo ramen scene, there is no need worry about which ramen restaurants to pick.

Japan has many attractions that are specialized in ramen where you can enjoy eating variety of ramen in one place, and there is one near Shinagawa station.
Shinagawa station is a one of a major railway station in Tokyo with 15 different train lines and even shinkansen (bullet train) line.
So if you are planning to travel around Japan, this is a perfect place to go.

Shinatatsu Ramen Street.

This place has 7 famous ramen shops from all over Japan, and they all serve delicious ramen with no doubt.

I decided to try a ramen shop called NANTSUTTEI. There was a little line of people waiting outside, but I knew I’ll get a table soon because ramen is a well-known dish for “quick and slurp”. People don't normally sit and chit-chat at the table for a long time. There is only one clear purpose; to eat a bowl of ramen and go.

The soup is nice and it has rich tonkotsu (pork bone broth) flavor with dark brown garlic oil on top which makes the soup taste even richer.
This bowl of ramen was exactly what I needed for lunch in cold winter.

I want to go back here as much as I can and try other ramen shops.
