Arakawa Yuenchi is a tiny and cheap attraction park in northern Tokyo, perfect for families on a budget travelling with small children.

Located in Arakawa ward, accessible by the Toden Arakawa streetcar line, Arakawa Yuenchi is the only one attraction park whom the tenant is a city ward and not a private company.
This tiny attraction park remains rather unknown even by the Japanese people other than its locals.
The entrance cost 200 yen for adults and 100 yen for children.
Some attractions or rides will requires “100 yen” tickets which is very cheap compared to usual attraction parks.

The main target is children under ten years of age providing small rides like caterpillar, trains, and other games.
There’s a big aerial bicycle circuits that children can enjoy with their parents!

How about the ferris wheel with a view among the Sumida river?


You can also enjoy some fishing in the pond.

The small zoo has farm animals kids can touch for free and other birds or exotic animals like capybaras.

Small children are having tons of fun in this retro park.

It also can be easily accessible for families staying around Asakusa, Ueno, Machiya, or the Senju areas.
