Cute Japanese Stickers in Sekaido Part 1

Sekaido is one of Tokyo’s biggest art furnitures, tools, and stationery shop.

In this 6 floor building, you’ll find absolutely everything to make arts and craft.



The ground floor is dedicated to stationery.



There are hundreds of different sticker sheets sold here.



I found some interesting ones which is themed for different regions and cities.



Can you find what’s on those stickers?




The first one on the left is “Okinawa theme”:


There’s a sanshin, a traditional 3 chord guitar, hibiscus flower, two lucky lion “shiisa”, bitter melon “goya”, and biscuits called “chinsuko”.



In the middle it’s Tokyo with the Yamanote line train, Hachiko the famous Shibuya dog, Tokyo Tower, Kabuki actor, sushi, and the government building for example.



On the right, eastern Tokyo with Asakusa Kaminarimon Gate, Sumo wrestler, a stray cat, Tokyo Tower, and a rickshaw.

On the left, it’s Yokohama with the Landmark Tower building, red brick warehouses, the big wheel the TV tower, and a boat.



On the right it’s Kyoto, with a maiko, the Golden Pavillion, koi carps, matcha green tea, and a lot of Kyoto traditional sweets.

It’s becoming more difficult!



On the left it’s Osaka: the famous octopus balls Takoyaki, okonomiyaki, fried skewers called kushiyaki for the food.


Then there’s Osaka castle, the buildings from Dotombori, the hat and glasses of the Amerikamura doll, and Tsutenkaku tower.



On the right it’s Kôchi prefecture. Have you heard about it?


So first, it’s famous for its citrus fruits like oranges, tangerines, and yuzu for example.


There’s an dekopon fruit which looks like an orange.


Then there’s bonito sashimi.


The statue is Sakamoto Ryôma, a very famous Japanese historical figure who led Japan to where it is now.


Then, the famous train, bridge, and Kochi dog.
