When you get off the train (or get on) at Ebisu station, you will hear this music playing.
It might be a little hard to notice what song is playing for most of foreigners, but it is quite familiar to many Japanese people. It is a music from Yebisu beer commercial.
It is because Ebisu is named after Yebisu beer brewery that started here in Ebisu in 1890.
Not only Japanese people but also overseas continued to love Yebisu beer for over 120 years.
In 2010, they opened Museum of YEBISU BEER located at Ebisu Garden Place.

Once you enter the door, you will be surprised how classy the building is. It is almost like a classic music hall.
Everything you want to know about Yebisu is here.

If you can plan your schedule in advance, I strongly recommend to make a reservation for Yebisu Tour which educate you all about Yebisu from its history to science of beer for about 40 minutes with 500 yen.

The best part of the tour is that they give you two different samples of beer from a tap. Even free snack to eat with beer too.
Also they teach you the best way to pour beer from a can.
Soft drinks are available for people who can’t drink alcohol.

It was so much fun and than I thought it would be.
There are also a souvenir shop inside that you can buy original items only here.
It is available to stay here and taste different flavor of beer with additional charge.
