T’s Tan Tan is actually a fully vegan restaurant but also many muslims go there. No animal based ingredients such as meat, fish or eggs is used in any of the dishes. The restaurant is located conveniently at Tokyo station, although you have to get inside the JR station. But the taste is so good that it is worth the extra 140 yen for the ticket.
Already the exterior looks inviting.
The restaurant offers different kinds of ramen but also other dishes such as curry. They have an English menu as well!
The price range of ramen is from 750 to 900 yen, and considered that it is really delicious, it is a cheap price. You can also order a set menu: a ramen of your choice and a rice bowl side dish.
The food arrived! This is T’s Tantan, the most popular ramen of the restaurant. The small side dish is Fried Soy Meat Bowl. Both of these are of course prepared using ingredients only from the plant kingdom. In total, it cost 1100 yen.
The ramen tasted really good, it was creamy and not that spicy. There are also spicy alternatives in the menu, if you prefer spicy food, though! The soup broth of of all ramen dishes is based on sesame and chilli.
The fried soy meat bowl with sweet and sour sauce was also delicious. For a side dish, this was really good.
After eating both of the dishes, I was really full. If you are not that hungry, the ramen might be enough. However, as it costs only 300 yen more with the side dish, if you are not sure, you should try it out!
